The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Division of Employee Benefits and Security Administration (EBSA) issued 136 citations for health plan violation of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 (MHPAEA) during fiscal years 2016 and 2017.
