Due To Protest, Tennessee DOC To Rebid $123 Million Behavioral Health Contract
On May 10, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) and the Department of General Services’ Central Procurement Office (CPO) said the state will rebid its $123 million contract for inmate behavioral health services. On March 18, 2021, TDOC and CPO received information regarding the RFP and contract award indicating practices inconsistent with the rules and regulations in place to insure fairness and transparency in the procurement process.
