Hawaii Reports 78% COVID Staff Vaccination Rate In Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing Facilities

As of February 14, 2021, the state of Hawaii reported an average 78% staff coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination rate in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living, and other long-term care (LTC) facilities. This is more than double the national average of 38%, that was found by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Three facilities had 100% of their staff vaccinated, and 13 facilities had staff vaccination rates of 90% or more.
