HHS Opens Application For $25.5 Billion In Relief Funds For Health Care Provider Organizations
On September 29, 2021, the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) began accepting applications for $25.5 billion in a fourth distribution of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) provider organization relief funds. Applications are due by October 26, 2021. For profit organizations can apply. In this phase, the Provider Relief Fund (PRF) will reimburse smaller provider organizations for their lost revenues and COVID-19 expenses at a higher rate compared to larger provider organizations.
