Idaho To Implement New Medicaid Crisis Services For Adults With I/DD
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) plans to launch three new Medicaid crisis services in 2025 for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). On March 30, 2023, IDHW submitted three Medicaid State Plan Amendments (SPAs) to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) seeking approval for Medicaid reimbursement for the new services, to be delivered by state personnel.
