Indiana DOC Awards $643 Million Four-Year Prison Medical Contract To Centurion Health
The Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) awarded its prison medical services contract for the next four years to Centurion Health of Indiana. The contract is valued at $643 million, and is slated to begin July 1, 2021. The initial term runs for four years, and is followed by two, two-year renewal options. The annual value is $160 million, about 50% more than the $106 million annual cost for the incumbent Wexford of Indiana, LLC.
