On September 24, 2020, a federal district court judge denied class action status to a lawsuit filed by people in custody of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) who sought release to avoid infection with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The detainees are held in three county correctional facilities in central Pennsylvania: Clinton County Correctional Facility (CCCF), Pike County Correctional Facility (PCCF), and York County Prison (YCP).
