38% Of The Excess Deaths in The U.S. From March 1 To August 1, 2020 Were Directly Attributed To COVID-19
About 38% of deaths among U.S. adults ages 25 to 44 that occurred from March 1 through August 1, 2020, were directly attributable to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). During this period, there were 76,088 all-cause deaths occurred among U.S. adults aged 25 to 44 years. This is 11,899 more than the expected 64,189 deaths. Of these excess deaths, 4,535 (38%) were directly attributable to COVID-19.
