Kansas Seeking Institutional Alternative Services Before Lifting Voluntary Admissions Moratorium For Osawatomie State Hospital
The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is preparing to lift its moratorium on voluntary admissions to Osawatomie State Hospital (OSH) and, in preparation, is seeking a contractor to manage alternatives to state hospital services. On January 24, 2021, the state released request for proposals (RFP EVT0007827), due by March 4, 2021. The contract will run from the date of award through June 30, 2026. The contract will be structured as a firm, fixed-price indefinite quantity contract. The state made no guarantee of volume.
