Lane County, Oregon Launches Pay-For-Success Project For Forensic Housing & Re-Entry Services
On October 29, 2018, the Lane County Reentry Collaborative launched The Way Home (TWH), a pay-for-success (PFS) initiative to provide 100 units of "housing first" permanent supportive housing to individuals with conviction histories in Lane County over the next two years. The program will serve 125 people who were formerly incarcerated in state prison and are at a medium to high risk to recidivate, with a priority for women, veterans, and those excluded from federal funding/program (e.g., sex crimes).
