Leidos & Magellan Awarded Military & Family Life Non-Medical Counseling Contracts
The Department of Defense awarded Leidos and Magellan Health Inc., prime contracts for the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program. The program provides military service members and their families with access to face-to-face non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach services in the communities where they are stationed. Together the contracts are valued at $4 billion, $2 billion to Leidos and $2 billion to Magellan. Each has a 12-month base period with four 12-month options and two 12-month award term incentive periods. The contracts are structured as a cost-plus-award-fee-basis.
