Los Angeles City Council Agrees To Fund Part Of Plan To House Homeless Veterans
On February 23, 2018, the Los Angeles City Council agreed to fund part of a new plan to house homeless veterans. The official action of the Los Angeles City Council's "Homelessness and poverty committee report relative to the authorization to issue early funding commitments for the Proposition HHH Permanent Supportive Housing Loan Program" passed with 12 "yes" votes, and zero "no" votes; three of the council members were absent for the vote. The action was subsequently signed by the mayor on February 23. The report recommends:
