Massachusetts, Colorado & Minnesota Have Highest Percentages Of Residents With Post-Secondary Degrees
The residents of Massachusetts, Colorado, and Minnesota have the highest levels of educational attainment nationwide based on the share of adults age 25 and older with an associate degree or higher degree in 2019. The national average is 41.7%. In Massachusetts, 52.4% have an associate degree or higher; in Colorado, 51.1%; and in Minnesota, 48.8%.
