Total Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS) spending rose about 25% from 2018 to 2019 in the United States (U.S.), increasing from about $129 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2018, to about $162.1 billion in FY 2019. The previous year, Medicaid LTSS spending rose by 4% from about $124.0 billion in fiscal year FY 2017, to about $129 billion in FY 2018.
