More Than One-Third Of Seniors’ Housing & Care Operators Believe Occupancy Will Return To Pre-COVID-19 Levels In 2021
A total of 38% of seniors' housing and care operators believe their organization’s occupancy rates will return the level before the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency began in March 2020. A total of 44% believe occupancy rates will recover in 2022. As of March 21, 2021, 90% of organizations reported that their residents are fully vaccinated. To boost occupancy, about 60% of organizations said they were offering rent concessions.
