Most Remote Monitoring Claims Are For Physiological Data
A recent study of commercial claims for two types of remote monitoring found differences in utilization among adults under age 65. The two types are remote physiological monitoring (RPM), and remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM). RPM data can include weight, blood glucose, or blood pressure measurements. RT;data, which is self-reported, can include information about pain or levels of activity. Both types are reported to the health care team.
