Advocacy Group ‘Moving Health Home’ Formed To Make Medicare Pandemic-Driven Home Health Rules Permanent
On March 3, 2021, a group of leading health companies, launched "Moving Health Home" to advocate for permanently adopting the pandemic-related changes to Medicare flexibilities for home-based health services. The founding members of Moving Health Home include Amazon Care, Landmark Health, Signify Health, Dispatch Health, Elara Caring, Intermountain Healthcare, Home Instead, Amwell, and Ascension. They also seek legislative and policy changes to Medicare reimbursement models to allow consumers to receive medical services at home, rather than an institution.
