New Housing Community In Minnesota To Serve Adults 55+ & Adults With I/DD
On September 1, 2020, a new housing community in Victoria, Minnesota began welcoming residents to independent living units designed for two distinct populations: adults age 55 and older and independent adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The community, Bethesda Cornerstone Village Victoria, has a total of 52 homes: 37 apartment homes and 15 villa homes. About 20% of the residences will be reserved for people with I/DD. The goal of the new development is to offer accessible, high-quality housing while encouraging independent living and fostering connections among residents.
