New Jersey Expands COVID-19 School-Age Child Care Assistance To Families With Incomes Up To $150,000
The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) recently opened applications for a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) child care tuition assistance program to help families with child care costs as schools open remotely. The program has $150 million in funding. It will provide assistance to families with incomes up to $150,000 that are in need of either full or part-time child care for a child between 5 and 13 years old due to their child’s remote school learning schedule.
