New York OPWDD’s New Strategic Plan Calls For Evaluating Managed Care Models To Make Design Recommendations For Specialized Care Options
The New York Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is planning to evaluate service delivery models, including managed care for Medicaid long-term services and support services (LTSS) for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The evaluation is among OPWDD’s top priorities outlined in its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, which was released on November 1, 2022.
