North Carolina Medicaid Selects Five Health Plans—One Regional & Four Statewide

On February 4, 2019, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced it had selected one regional and four statewide prepaid health plan (PHP) contractors to provide integrated physical health, behavioral health, and pharmacy services through Standard Plans for the general Medicaid population.
