North Carolina I/DD Peer Mentorship Training Program Graduates First Class
In July 2021, the North Carolina Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) Peer Support Specialist Pilot Project graduated its inaugural cohort. The inaugural cohort included 15 participants with I/DD age 18 or older. The sponsors deemed the pilot a success, with all 15 individuals who started the program continuing through completion and reporting that they would recommend the training to colleagues.
