Ohio Child Welfare To Implement A Data System To Identify High-Risk Children Receiving At-Home Services
To improve the safety of children in high-risk child abuse and neglect cases, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) issued a request for proposals (RFP) to continue the Accelerated Safety Analysis Protocol (Ohio ASAP) program. This program uses data to identify high-risk children services cases among children receiving in-home services. Quality assurance case reviewers then review the high-risk cases and meet with the assigned caseworker and supervisor to brainstorm strategies to address outstanding safety issues.
