Ohio Medicaid Issues RFP For Verification & Validation Services For New Enterprise System

On August 1, 2022, the Ohio Department of Administrative Services released a request for proposals (RFP SRC0000002255) for Medicaid Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services. The procurement is part of Ohio’s modular Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES) program, which will replace the state’s Medicaid management information system (MMIS). The MMIS contract is currently held by Gainwell Technologies; the contract ends on June 30, 2023. The OMES is going live in stages. The IV&V contractor will test each OMES module to ensure that all the modules work together.
