On January 19, 2021, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) announced that starting the week of January 25, the state will begin offering coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccinations to people with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD). This phase will be for people with I/DD who have severe congenital, developmental, or early-onset medical disorders rendering them particularly vulnerable to poor outcomes if they contract COVID-19.
