Online Mental Health Intervention Improves Anxiety For Consumers With Scleroderma During COVID-19
An online mental health intervention, called the Scleroderma Patient-Centred Intervention Network COVID-19 Home-Isolation Activities Together (SPIN-CHAT) Program, reduced anxiety symptoms among individuals with scleroderma who were isolated due to restrictions put in place due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Six weeks after completing the SPIN-CHAT Program, the participants’ anxiety symptom scores dropped by 2.36 points from the baseline score, and their depression symptom scores dropped by 1.64 points from baseline.
