Pennsylvania Medicaid Seeks MCO Applications For HealthChoices Physical Health Program
On October 15, 2019, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) issued a request for applications (RFA 07-19) to health plans for its $13 billion physical health HealthChoices Medicaid managed care program. DHS is seeking managed care organization (MCO) applications for each of the five HealthChoices zones covering all 67 counties: Southeast, Southwest, LehighCapital, Northwest, and Northeast. Applications are due by December 17, 2019. Three, four, or five MCOs will be selected for each of the five regions.
