On November 10, 2021, Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) launched a new pilot project focused on training six community-based primary care clinics to build and maintain clinics that deliver medication-assisted addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder. For the pilot, PCHC is collaborating with the Maine Primary Care Association (MCPA). The goal is to increase access to MAT for consumers with opioid use disorder who are served by the participating primary care clinics.
