Social Determinants Pilot Project Funding Included In COVID Omnibus Legislation
Funding to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for social determinants of heath (SDoH) pilot projects was included in the COVID-19 federal legislation enacted on December 27, 2020. CDC will allocate the $3 million in funding to state, local, territorial, or tribal leaders. The CDC will issue more information about how it will administer grants for the pilots by April 26, 2021.
