On September 18, 2019, the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) awarded contracts to three organizations to implement projects related to statewide family support network services. All three have planned projects to build up their peer support networks. The initial contract term began on October 1, 2019, and runs through June 30, 2020. The awards went to the following organizations:

Family Connection of South Carolina was awarded a contract valued at $42,700 annually.
South Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association was awarded a contract valued at $44,415 annually.
