COVID-19 Stimulus Bill Provides $900 Billion In Relief; $4.25 Billion For Mental Health
On December 27, 2020, President Trump signed a $2.3 trillion spending bill that delivers $900 billion in new relief to individuals and businesses affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. The 5,600-page bill also includes appropriations of $1.4 trillion that are for separate legislation to fund government operations through October 2021.
For individuals, the legislation provides for a one-time payment of $600 per person. It restores the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) supplement to all state and federal unemployment benefits at $300 per week, starting after December 26 and ending March . . .
