Supreme Court Dismisses Third Challenge To Affordable Care Act
On June 17, 2021, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled 7 to 2 on California v. Texas to dismiss the third challenge to the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (PPACA), which leaves the law intact. The ruling said the challengers, two named individuals and a group of Republican governors, lacked standing to bring the case.
