On January 14, 2021, Texas-based Community Health Choice announced the launch of Virtual Bronze, a new health maintenance organization (HMO) with a virtual primary care model. The plan, which was created through a partnership with Doctor On Demand, is available in the greater Houston and Beaumont areas in Texas; it is designed for state residents who do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare.
