The GEO Group Starts Five-Year $2 Billion ICE Contract For Detainee Management & Supervision
On April 1, 2020, The GEO Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, BI Incorporated began a five-year contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to continue providing case management and supervision services for the government’s Intensive Supervision and Appearance Program (ISAP-IV). According to an ICE spokesperson, the contract is valued at $2.2 billion, and is expected to serve 90,000 to 100,000 participants daily, consistent with the average number of daily participants during the past year.
ICE released the ISAP-IV solicitation on May 17, 2019 as an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract . . .
