The U.K. National Health Service Rolls Out App To Screen For Chronic Kidney Disease
The United Kingdom (U.K.) National Health Service (NHS) is rolling out the new Minuteful Kidney smartphone application and home urine test kit to provide mobile and home-based screening for chronic kidney disease. The test can detect early signs of kidney failure. The rollout is a collaboration among Healthy.io, Ltd; the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC), NHSX (now part of the NHS Transformation Directorate) and the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). More than 100,000 NHS members are using the app.
