On October 3, 2019, Walmart announced the launch of a three-state pilot program expansion of telehealth services through a “Personal Online Doctor.” Participants in Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin will have access to a virtual primary care physician and an entire team to coordinate specialty care, provide nutritional and diabetic counseling, and behavioral health referrals. The Personal Online Doctor will also provide discounted video-based services for preventative health, chronic care management, urgent care, and behavioral health. The expanded services will be offered beginning on January 1, 2020.
