Virginia’s Next Medicaid Managed Care Contracts To Integrate Specialty Behavioral Health
On July 17, 2017, the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) released a request for proposals (RFP 2017-03) for its new Medicaid managed care MEDALLION 4.0 Program that integrates specialty behavioral health. The new program is the next iteration of the department’s long-standing Medallion II and Medallion 3.0 Medicaid and FAMIS Managed Care Programs and will focus on improving quality, access, and efficiency for more than 737,000 members.
