Washington State To Track Developmental Disabilities Waiting List
On April 3, 2020, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee signed legislation to track the number of people on the developmental disabilities waiting list for home- and community-based services (HCBS). About 300 individuals are eligible for and have requested a service through the individual and family services waiver and the basic plus waiver administered by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). The bill does not allocate extra funding for services. The bill goes into effect on June 11, 2020.
