Gettysburg, Pa. (March 5, 2023)—In the ever-changing health and human services landscape, provider organizations are again pivoting to prepare for the end of the federal health emergency, slated for May 11, 2023. Having a clear definition of success and the associated measurements will be key in making this transition and preparing for additional changes in payer contracting. On Thursday, May 4, Melissa Fox, Chief Operating Officer for Acenda Integrated Health, will share her organization’s journey when she presents “Creating A Framework For Sustainability – The Acenda Integrated Health Cast Study”. The one-hour, virtual session, part of the weekly OPEN MINDS Elite Executive Roundtable Series, will begin at 1:00 pm ET.
“Provide organization executive teams, now more than ever, need to focus on sustainability,” said Monica E. Oss, OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer. “Creating a plan that defines metrics for success, how to collect and measure those metrics, and identifying who is accountable is the first step to sustainability.”
During her presentation, Ms. Fox will outline the partnerships Acenda Integrated Health (Acenda) created to address the needs of consumers in their community, changes that have occurred in the marketplace, and their organization’s defined metrics for success. Acenda, a behavioral health and social services agency serving a 10-county region in New Jersey, provides evidence-based programming in child welfare, prevention, juvenile justice, outpatient mental health, crisis services, substance use disorder treatment, and supportive housing.
Ms. Fox will share how Acenda expanded their reach through unconventional relationships, addressed workforce challenges, and improved access and wait time for consumer care. Executive attendees will learn how to develop their own framework, including developing partnerships and programs that support sustainability and longevity.
