Coordinated Care Services Inc. Fiscal Practice Leader To Present Financial Modeling For Value-Based Contracts

Gettysburg, Pa. (May 14, 2023) —With the development of new alternative payment models, creating financial models to test clinical models of care is an essential skillset for finance departments. On May 18 at 1:00 PM ET, David Wawrzynek, Senior Director of Fiscal Practice Improvement at Coordinated Care Services Inc. (CCSI) will discuss the essential components of a financial model during the OPEN MINDS Executive Roundtable, Financial Modeling For Value-Based Contracting.

During this one-hour live presentation, Mr. Wawrzynek will discuss how to incorporate the concept of quality into the clinical and financial models, as well as how to create a relationship between cost drivers and cost projections. He will also discuss the variables in a financial model that are critical for financial success and how to use a financial model to project potential revenue reimbursement methods.

“Success in a value-based contract depends on aligning your actual costs and cost assumptions,” said OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer, Monica E. Oss. “From fixing negative margins, to budgeting a new service, to determining how to price outcomes-based services, financial modeling is critical for making good decisions.”
