Gettysburg, Pa. (July 5, 2022) — Easterseals’ Jeff Arledge, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will present Aligning Operations & Finance To Strengthen The Bottom Line — The Easterseals Approach, an OPEN MINDS Circle Elite Executive Roundtable. The session, scheduled for Thursday, July 1 at 1 PM ET, will provide health and human service financial teams with a best-practice approach to ensuring operations and financial departments are unified and working towards a common goal.
“The post-pandemic financial department for health care provider organizations has undergone an evolution in responsibilities and demands,” noted Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer of OPEN MINDS. “It is important for CFOs to accommodate these changes in roles and responsibilities, understand what is now connecting operations to finance, and maximize their impact on the organization as a genesis of change.”
Easterseals is a health care provider organization that strives for full equity, inclusion, and access to their disability and community services suite including early childhood programs, autism services, medical rehabilitation, employment programs, and veteran’s services.
One of the most important roles of the chief financial officer (CFO) has always been aligning operations and finance to strive towards achieving a singular goal. How the CFO communicates and establishes trust is part of this process of allying operations with financial strength. This involves setting the right goals, having effective tools, and updating processes, but a key factor for success is communication. Connecting leadership with operational staff, analyzing data, and applying it, drives organizational strength and innovation. Executive attendees of this session will learn how to understand the important factors connecting operations to financial strength, identify the tools and metrics used to drive cultural and financial transformation, and discuss the communication approaches and skills to strengthen the CFO’s organizational impact.
