The session will help members learn how Pinebrook Family Answers underwent an organization-wide complete technological transformation, first in response to a need created by the pandemic, but how they then used this as the genesis for lasting change and innovation.

Matt Welser’s experience as a direct service provider gives him a unique perspective on the technological needs of behavioral health and social service organizations. Mr. Welser served as a direct care provider for youth and families with mental health needs before his professional journey took a turn in 2014, when he became the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Administrator for Pinebrook Family Answers. In his current role as the Innovative Technology Analyst, he is tasked with maximizing the use of current IT systems and technologies while exploring new opportunities to utilize technology to advance Pinebrook’s mission. Mr. Welser has been the local EHR (Welligent) administrator for over 8 years. During that time he has managed and provided end user training for multiple Welligent EHR implementations across a variety of different behavioral health and social service programs. He also administers five additional SaaS systems including Microsoft Offices 365, and all telecommunications related systems and services for Pinebrook Family Answers.
