Gettysburg, Pa. (February 19, 2023)—Provider organization executive teams are faced with a growing challenge that is shrinking resources—the workforce. Recruitment, retention, engagement, and productivity discussions have moved beyond the human resource department and are now part of strategic planning and board room discussions. How do provider organizations address the demands and limitations?
That is the focus of the April 17 OPEN MINDS Elite Executive Roundtable, Maximizing Productivity Settings In A Mixed Use Workforce — The Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Case Study. President and Chief Executive Officer for Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, Steven Sheets, MC, LPC, will share how he and his team transformed their organization to a mixed-use workforce using key performance indicators (KPI) and productivity metrics to maximize efficiency on a team-by-team basis. The one-hour live roundtable will be delivered virtually beginning at 1:00 PM ET.
“Executive teams need to maximize productivity while driving employee engagement and incentivizing retention,” commented Monica E. Oss, OPEN MIND Chief Executive Officer. “Focusing on performance indicators, value-based metrics, and process provides an opportunity to align your mission with the needs of your staff and your consumers, as well as optimize for the best contract rates based on data.”
Executive attendees will learn how to approach returning to the office and how to develop a process for each department. Mr. Sheets will provide the percentage of virtual to in-office for both staff numbers and caseloads by service line. His presentation will focus on identifying productivity settings by team, including identifying and tracking KPIs to improve productivity and accountability, a strategy that has resulted in Southwest Behavioral & Health Services operating at higher productivity levels than pre-pandemic.
