The state of Florida is continuing its Medicaid Managed Care Housing pilot program, in collaboration with Molina Healthcare, Staywell (WellCare Health Plans), Simply Healthcare Plans of Florida, Aetna, and Magellan Complete Care. Through this program, Florida Medicaid provided evidence-based community supports and services that assisted in securing housing for Medicaid recipients ages 21 and older who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have a serious mental illness (SMI), or addiction.
