Greetings from Long Beach where we kicked off the first day of The 2018 OPEN MINDS Management Best Practices Institute with a keynote address by Devan J. Cross, President of MHN, A Subsidiary of Centene, focused on the future of behavioral health carve-out plans. We also learned about I/DD self-direction, discussed how to incorporate medication-assisted treatment into addiction treatment models, and explored the challenges to adopting evidenced-based practices for complex consumers.
