The Cleveland Clinic named Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD as their new president and CEO.  Dr. Mihaljevic was chosen unanimously from a pool of 15 candidates by the Clinic's board of governors and board of directors.

Currently, Dr. Mihaljevic serves as CEO of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a multi specialty 364 bed hospital located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Through the rest of the year, he will complete a transition process as he acclimates to the new role. Dr. Mihaljevic will succeed the current CEO, Dr. Toby Cosgrove, on January 1, 2018.
