What are the key priorities and biggest challenges for hospital CEOs for the rest of the year?;That was the question posed in the article, Top Priorities For Healthcare CEOs in a recent issue of Modern Healthcare.

The responses from 13 CEOs included all the “usual suspects”—workforce attraction and retention, stabilizing acquisitions, and the evolving insurance landscape around obesity medications. But most striking to me was their recognition of the shift in health care towards a continuum of care that acknowledges that not all needs require physical facilities and constant onsite professionals.
