In January 2022, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) launched the Internet Assistance Project to pay for an internet connection for community-dwelling people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are receiving home- and community-based services (HCBS). Through this project, DODD will provide funding to eligible county boards of developmental disabilities to support the boards in providing internet assistance to those consumers.

DODD will approve funds for applications that span fiscal year (FY) 2022 which is July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. The financial assistance provided under this project is funded by Technology First investments made . . .
