Adults with Serious Mental Illness Maintaining Community Life through Michigan Residential Program
Macomb-Oakland Regional Centers (MORC) has achieved a less than 4% recidivism rate for individuals who were previously placed in long-term care facilities and subsequently transferred to their Community Residential Services (CRS) program. Since its inception in 1994, MORC-CRS has placed 281 additional individuals into community settings and has increased the number of individuals enrolled in outside contractual programs from 7% to 42 percent.
