UPMC Center For High-Value Health Care Approved For $3.8 Million In Research Funding For Study Of Consumers With Complex Care Needs
The UPMC Center for High-Value Health Care (UPMC) was approved for a $3.8 million research fund. The funds come through the Patient-centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and will be used to study consumers with complex care needs. PCORI is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to fund research that will provide consumers and provider organizations with the evidence-based information needed to make better-informed health care decisions.
